Effective Date: June 23, 2026 | Last Updated: June 23, 2026
SUMMARY. This Privacy Policy explains what information Traders & Quants, LLC collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. In short: we do not sell your personal information, and we keep subscriber information in-house. We use information to operate our publications and services, communicate with you, and display and measure advertising. When you choose to engage with an advertiser’s offer, you may leave our properties and provide information directly to that advertiser under their privacy policy. This Policy is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
Table of Contents
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how Traders & Quants, LLC and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, related entities, successors, assigns, brands, publications, newsletters, domains, subdomains, SMS programs, email publications, media properties, applications, data products, paid products, free products, and associated or successor brands (collectively, “Traders & Quants,” “T&Q,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you access or use our websites (including Foretell Markets), newsletters, email and (where offered) SMS publications, applications, data products, and other products and services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Policy applies to information we collect through the Services and in related communications. It does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including advertisers, sponsors, affiliate partners, and other websites or services to which the Services may link. When you leave our Services and interact with a third party, that third party’s own privacy policy governs. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any third party before providing your information to them.By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Services.
We collect information in three ways: information you provide to us directly, information we collect automatically when you use the Services, and information we receive from third parties. The categories below describe the types of information we may collect; the specific information we collect depends on how you interact with the Services.
Registration and account information, such as your name (if provided), email address, securely hashed password (if you create an account), and account preferences.
Subscription and transaction information if you purchase a paid Service, such as billing name, billing address, and the last digits and type of your payment card. Full payment-card numbers are processed by our third-party payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
Communications and support information, such as the contents of messages you send us, survey or feedback responses, and information you provide when you contact customer support.
User content, such as comments or other materials you choose to submit through the Services, where that functionality is offered.
Marketing preferences, such as the publications you subscribe to and your communication choices.
Like most online services, when you access the Services we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage information through cookies, web beacons, pixels, log files, and similar technologies. This may include:
Device and connection data, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and settings, device type, operating system, language preferences, and Internet service provider.
Usage data, such as the pages and content you view, the dates and times of your visits, referring and exit pages, links and advertisements you click, email opens and clicks, and the number of clicks and similar interaction metrics.
Approximate location, such as a general geographic area (for example, region or postal area) derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise geolocation from your device without your consent.
We use this information to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Services, to remember your preferences, and to measure and serve advertising as described below. Information collected in log files is generally used in aggregate and is not, by itself, used by us to identify you personally, although in some jurisdictions IP addresses and online identifiers may be treated as personal information.
We may receive information about you from third parties, such as our advertising and analytics providers, payment processors, fraud-prevention and security providers, and, where you have chosen to interact with them, social media or co-registration platforms. We may combine this information with information we collect directly to operate and improve the Services and to detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not seek to collect sensitive categories of personal information (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, or financial-account credentials beyond what is needed to process a transaction through our processor). The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. See Section 11 (Children’s Privacy).
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To provide, operate, maintain, and deliver the Services, including sending the newsletters and publications you request;
To create and manage your account, process your transactions, and provide customer support;
To personalize your experience and deliver content and offers relevant to your interests;
To communicate with you about your account, subscriptions, transactions, and changes to our terms or policies;
To send you marketing and promotional communications consistent with your preferences and applicable law, from which you may opt out at any time;
To display, measure, and improve advertising on the Services, including contextual and, where applicable, interest-based advertising as described in Section 5;
To analyze usage and trends, conduct research, and improve and develop the Services;
To maintain the security and integrity of the Services, and to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful or unlawful activity;
To comply with our legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information or with your consent.
Where required by law, we rely on one or more lawful bases to process your information, including performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where applicable.
WE DO NOT SELL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR MONEY, AND WE DO NOT SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR CROSS-CONTEXT BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING IN EXCHANGE FOR OTHER BUSINESSES’ INFORMATION. WE KEEP SUBSCRIBER INFORMATION IN-HOUSE.
We disclose information only as described in this Policy. The categories of recipients and circumstances are:
We share information with vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf and under our instructions, such as website and email hosting, payment processing, analytics, customer support, security and fraud prevention, and email and (where offered) SMS delivery. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and are required to protect it.
Our Services are supported in part by advertising, including cost-per-click (CPC) and cost-per-action (CPA) advertisements. When you click an advertiser’s link or offer, you may be directed to a landing page or website operated by that advertiser or a third party, outside of our Services. If you choose to provide your information on that third party’s page, you are providing it directly to that third party under its own privacy policy, and we do not control and are not responsible for that third party’s collection or use of your information. We encourage you to review the third party’s privacy policy before providing any information.
On limited occasions, we may offer an advertising placement under which, if you click a designated link, your email address will be transmitted to the applicable advertiser so that the advertiser may contact you. Where we offer such a placement, we present clear and conspicuous disclosure adjacent to the call-to-action stating that, by clicking, you agree to have your email address shared with the advertiser. We transmit your email address in this manner only when you take that affirmative action after receiving that disclosure. Once your information is provided to the advertiser, the advertiser’s own privacy policy governs its use of your information.
We may in the future offer optional co-registration or partner placements (for example, where you may choose to subscribe to a partner publication, or where we collaborate with another publisher). We do not currently engage in these practices. If and when we do, we will disclose them at the point of collection (for example, through a clearly labeled widget or checkbox) and, where required, obtain your consent before sharing your information. We will update this Policy accordingly.
We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary or appropriate to: comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements; detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Traders & Quants, our users, or others.
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the recipient’s commitment to honor this Policy or provide notice of any material change.
We may share information among our affiliates and related entities identified in Section 1 to operate, provide, and improve the Services consistent with this Policy.
We may create and use aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, and we may disclose such information for any lawful purpose, including for marketing, analytics, and research. We will maintain and use de-identified information in de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify it except as permitted by law.
We and our service providers and advertising partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, software development kits, and similar technologies (collectively, “cookies”) to operate and secure the Services, remember your preferences, analyze traffic and usage, and measure and serve advertising.
Strictly necessary cookies enable core functionality such as security, account authentication, and load balancing.
Analytics cookies help us understand how the Services are used so we can improve them.
Advertising cookies may be used by us and by third-party advertising partners to display and measure advertising, including, where applicable, interest-based advertising based on your activity over time and across third-party websites.
Third-party advertising partners and networks that serve advertising on the Services may set their own cookies and automatically receive information such as your IP address when ads are served. We do not control these third parties’ technologies or their use of information, and their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings, including deleting or blocking certain cookies, though some features of the Services may not function properly if you do. Many advertising providers offer opt-outs for interest-based advertising through industry programs such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and, in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, youronlinechoices.eu. Where we are required to honor opt-out preference signals (such as the Global Privacy Control), we will treat a detected signal as a valid request to opt out of applicable sharing for that browser or device. See Sections 7 and 8 for additional rights and choices.
If you subscribe to our newsletters or otherwise provide your email address, we may send you publications, updates, and marketing communications. We comply with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and similar laws: our commercial emails identify themselves as advertising where required, include a valid physical postal address, and provide a working unsubscribe mechanism. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any such email or by contacting us as described in Section 15. We may still send you non-marketing, transactional, or relationship messages (for example, regarding your account, a purchase, or this Policy), as permitted by law.
To the extent we offer SMS or text-message programs, we will obtain your prior express consent as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable law before sending you marketing text messages, and consent will not be a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Where offered, message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You will be able to opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and to request help by replying HELP. We do not share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing. If and when we launch SMS programs, any program-specific mobile terms presented at sign-up will supplement this Policy.
We provide the following choices and, depending on your jurisdiction, the following rights. We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising any privacy right.
Marketing opt-out: You may opt out of marketing emails (and SMS, where offered) as described in Section 6.
Cookies: You may manage cookies and interest-based advertising as described in Section 5.
Account information: You may access or update certain account information by contacting us or, where available, through your account settings.
Deletion: You may request that we delete your information as described in Section 15, subject to legal exceptions.
Residents of U.S. states that have enacted comprehensive consumer-privacy laws — including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others as such laws take effect — may have some or all of the following rights, subject to the conditions and exceptions in the applicable law:
the right to confirm whether we process your personal information and to access that information;
the right to obtain a copy of, or to port, the personal information you provided to us;
the right to correct inaccuracies in your personal information;
the right to request deletion of your personal information;
the right to opt out of targeted or interest-based advertising, the “sale” of personal information, and certain profiling, to the extent any such activities apply; and
the right to appeal a denial of your request, and to be free from discrimination for exercising your rights.
As described in Section 4, we do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for other businesses’ information. To exercise any of these rights, see Section 15. We will verify your request as required by law and respond within the time period the applicable law requires. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request where permitted, subject to verification.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”), provides the rights described in Section 7.2, including the rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share (as those terms are defined under the CCPA) personal information, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a right to limit. The categories of personal information we collect, the sources, business purposes, and categories of recipients are described in Sections 2, 3, and 4. We retain personal information as described in Section 9. California residents may exercise their rights as described in Section 15, and may designate an authorized agent to do so. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
“Shine the Light.” California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for those third parties’ direct-marketing purposes. As stated above, we do not make such disclosures.
To the extent the Florida Digital Bill of Rights applies to us and to you as a Florida resident, you may have rights to confirm, access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, and certain profiling. As described above, we do not sell personal information or engage in targeted advertising in a manner that exchanges your information with other businesses. You may exercise applicable rights as described in Section 15.
We are based in the United States, and the Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries that may not provide the same level of data-protection law as your home country. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for such transfers.If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following additional information applies. We process your personal data on the legal bases described in Section 3 (performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation, and consent). You have the rights, subject to applicable law, to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object based on your particular situation. To exercise these rights, contact us as described in Section 15. We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain your account and subscriptions, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or anonymize it, or to securely store it where deletion is not practicable (for example, because it resides in backups), until deletion is possible.
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include access controls limiting access to personnel who need it, encryption of sensitive information in transit using industry-standard technologies, and regular monitoring of our systems for vulnerabilities and known threats. Payment-card transactions are processed by a third-party payment gateway and are not stored on our servers.No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity under your account. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable authorities as required by law.
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where applicable law so provides), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable law, if we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without the required parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us as described in Section 15.
The Services may contain links to, or content from, third-party websites, advertisers, and services that we do not own or control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices or content. When you click a link or interact with a third-party service (including an advertiser’s landing page as described in Section 4), the third party may collect information from you under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third parties before providing them with your information.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, and we do not currently respond to them. However, where applicable law requires us to honor an opt-out preference signal such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), we will treat a detected signal as a valid opt-out request for the applicable browser or device, as described in Section 5.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and post the updated Policy on the Services. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice as required by law, such as by email or a prominent notice on the Services. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes, except where additional consent is required by law.
For questions about this Policy, to exercise your privacy rights, or to opt out of marketing communications, you may contact us using the information below. To help us respond, please tell us which Service you used and the nature of your request. We will verify your identity as required by applicable law before fulfilling certain requests, and we will not charge a fee except as permitted by law.
